About

CSGOBlueGem.com is the home of Blue Gem Collectors. This website categorizes and shows all the currently available patterns that translates into a blue gem. I have meticulously selected all blue gem seeds using any possible sources, therefore I have to mention Reddit and Steam Community for various guides and materials, Tchuriki of Broskins.com who is a true blue gem master and TDM_Heyzeus, 3kliksphilip, SparklesNalo, Summit1G for countless hours of entertainment and inspiration. This website is made by me, also known as ADM.

FAQ

A “blue gem” is a special pattern of the case hardened skins found in Counter-Strike Global Offensive, now Counter-Strike 2. Case hardened skins pattern comes from the image you see below: each single pattern is cookie-cutted from this sheet and applied on the body of the skin, both for knives and weapons. The more blue on the knife/weapon, the more valuable is the skin; when blue is all over the place, the skin is knighted as Blue Gem.

Lastly, remember that wear (Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred, depending on the float value) does not affect whether the skin is a blue gem or not, it depends only on the pattern seed. Wear just adds a layer of tarnish to the skin.

If you can afford a blue gem you should definitely buy one because they are amazingly rare and stunningly beautiful. You would enter a small circle of elite collectors and it’s an investment that can pay dividends for you in the future.

Blue gems are very rare and it’s hard to find them on the market, especially top-tier blue gems. Nonetheless, you can try to snipe a lovely blue gem on CSFloat, SkinBaron, Skinport, Buff, Swap.gg, DMarket, Tradeit and GamerPay which are easy and reliable marketplaces. If you feel like treating yourself with a cheaper item you can find interesting CS2-related merchandising on Amazon.

I wish I had a true blue gem, but I currently have a blue potato knife that I put in this website as an Easter egg and a mid-tier Five-SeveN 🙂

I spent months looking at each case hardened seed for all knives and weapons available. It means that I inspected 1.000 patterns x (20 knives + 3 weapons + 1 pair of gloves) = 24.000 patterns and then I single-handed described each blue gem. I’m not a native English speaker (I’m Italian), so you might find mistakes and broken English here and there.

With the help of zipeL, Krieke and Fatmetal I created a page featuring the greatest blue gem collectors, keeping the list short and meaningful. It’s not a ranking, just an exhibition of the most dedicated collectors. If you want to be included in this list you need to have at least 7 of the blue gems described here at csgobluegem.com. If you match the criteria feel free to send me an email at csgobluegems@gmail.com or DM on Twitter.

Well, I did not expect this question so I don’t have a thoughtful answer. You can stick around, tell your friends about this website, maybe even check CSGO Blue Gem Twitter page. That’s all for the 99% of you. If you are one of those people that believe in random acts of kindness or craziness I would not refuse a blue gem gift since I don’t have any. I will accept your trade just if you have more than one blue gem and a big inventory that screams “I am rich enough to gift you a blue gem”; otherwise, I will not accept it. Here is my trade link you crazy man. If you don’t have a blue gem but you stubbornly want to help me with hosting and keeping this domain alive you can also donate. But the fact that you are here reading my sixth FAQ is already a win for me. Thank you for being here.

It’s easy, send an email at csgobluegems@gmail.com or DM on Twitter. It’s just me, be patient 🙂
